Bob Hope USO Palm Springs
The Bob Hope USO Palm Springs opened in December 2006 at the Palm Springs International Airport. This conveniently located facility is 100 yards west of the main terminal..
Most visitors are active-duty Marines serving at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center near Twenty-nine Palms, California. The MCAGCC is situated about 60 miles northeast of Palm Springs. Our Bob Hope USOPalm Springs provides a convenient sanctuary for service men and women traveling to and from the base to destinations nationally and around the world. All our services are free of charge to active-duty and retired military men and women and their eligible dependents!
Our volunteers work every day to assist our troops. We provide soft drinks, coffee, tea, water and snacks to visitors waiting for departing flights or transportation to the Marine Corps base at 29 Palms. The Palm Springs Center also serves as the base of operations for USO outreach programs throughout the area. We depend on the generosity of the local community to fund our work. Without the charitable contributions in the Coachella Valley area, we would not be able to offer the variety of programs that help so many service members and their loved ones.
